CHARLOTTE TOURNAMENT

Clan na nGael are traveling to Charlotte, NC on June 21st to play in a 3-city tournament. DC Gaels will travel down from Washington as CNG Men play vs. both Charlotte & DC men and Ladies will play *with* Charlotte Ladies vs. DC Ladies. If you haven’t been out to training yet, now is the time to dust off those boots and get out there! Let your trainers know of your travel intentions and email our travel officer, at

CELTIC FESTIVAL!!!

Thank you to all who came out to support us at the Celtic Festival last Saturday - Volunteers, players and supporters! Hopefully next year, the weather will be more agreeable.

A couple of "administration" items to handle: we are missing about 4 green jerseys and 3 or 4 blue jerseys from the games. We also have a lump hammer and are not sure who it belongs to. If you have a shirt in your possession or are looking for the return of your property, please email

Atlanta Men’s Junior B have drawn the winner of the West Region (team to be determined by a playoff between those teams before the Championship weekend). Membership dues and player waiver forms are now due ($75 for Players and $20 for associate membership). You can pay your membership online! Players, get with your team coordinator to sign waivers… (Ladies: Dianna Schillinger, Men: Ray Tracey and Hurling: Kieran Claffey)

THE "REEL" OPEN GOLF TOURNAMENT, JUNE 14, 2003 - UPDATE!

Due to popular demand, the venue for this years golf tournament has changed to the award winning Heritage Golf Course (770 499 4653) located 10 min from Buckhead. The tournament is being sponsored by Georgia State Feis which is a non profit organization formed to bring one of the nations most progressive Irish Dance Competitions to Atlanta. Individuals or complete teams are welcome. Registration will open at 11.00 AM and competition will begin with a shotgun start at 12.30 PM sharp. Registration Fees will be $ 380 /foursome, $ 95 / individual, and $ 115 / individual on the day of the event. Join us in The Harp Irish Pub immediately following the tournament as awards are presented. A collection of Uilleann Pipes, valued at approximately $20,000, was recently stolen from a home in Southern California. Should anyone hear of someone suddenly having several sets of pipes available for

Hurlers are Victorious in NACB Junior B Hurling Championship 2003
Congratulations to the club's hurlers who were victorious at the "Junior B level Championships" in Boston.
Atlanta won the tournament with a great performance against Milwaukee hurling club.

 
 
  
  Ladies Camogie headline

Due to the low turn out, we will not be having camogie-specific training sessions. Any women, new and beginner, are welcome to join the hurlers training session until numbers improve. Thanks!
