The rules for Women's Football differ only slightly from Men's Football. No deliberate physical contact is permitted in Women's Football and the ball may be picked up directly off the ground. Most other rules are the same as in the Men's game. The trip is scheduled for the end of September or beginning of October. The ladies team hopes to gain experience and training tips from a senior level county team.   New Players Encouraged:  This sport is very easy to learn and each year our team recruits at least 8 players that have never heard of gaelic football before.
